Acceptance of terms and conditions
By completing the registration form for a particular workshop, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which will be incorporated into the agreement between us. You also ensure that the substitute person attending the workshop on your behalf complies with these terms and conditions in case of rebooking. The agreement will be formed when we send you a registration confirmation.
Registration and workshop fee
To ensure the efficiency of our workshops, the number of participants is limited. Registrations will be considered in the order of their arrival. Once we send you the registration confirmation, we will also send you the corresponding invoice. Please pay the workshop fee before the beginning of your workshop. Prices are exclusive of VAT except where expressly stated otherwise. Fee payment shall be made to the bank account stated on the corresponding invoice. Only payments received prior to the workshop shall guarantee your participation.
Cancellation policy
Participant cancellations will be accepted only in writing and will be legally valid only by our return confirmation. Participant cancellations that reach us in writing no later than 14 calendar days before the beginning of the workshop, exempt you completely from the payment of the workshop fee. In case of participant cancellations or rebooking, which reach us less than 14 days before the beginning of the workshop, 33% of the workshop fee will be charged. In case of short-term notice (less than 3 working days before the beginning of the workshop) or in case of a no-show at the workshop, the complete workshop fee will be charged. A rebooking in favor of a substitute participant is possible at any time free of charge. There may be circumstances in which we, Profecta BDI, need to cancel the workshop. In such circumstances, we will provide you with a full refund of the amount of the workshop fee that you have paid to us and we will make effort to provide you with such a refund within 60 days of the date of cancellation.
Participant exclusion
If you act in any way which is likely to cause any harm or nuisance to any person at the workshop, you will be required to leave the workshop and we shall not be liable to refund your workshop fee or any other payment.
Participant engagement
Profecta BDI shall guarantee you optimum results only if you actively participate in all exercises, perform your tasks between sessions, and study the materials.
Workshop materials
You will be delivered all presentations, exercise sheets, and/or lecture notes before, during or after the completion of each module. The workshop materials are therefore for personal use only. Any copying, reprinting or translation and distribution to third parties without the express consent of Profecta BDI, even of parts of the materials, are not permitted and constitute a copyright infringement that will be prosecuted under civil law.
Recording of the workshop
We may wish to record the workshop and reserve the right to do so to promote future workshops or provide recordings to those who were not able to attend a certain module. In that case, we will explicitly ask for your consent to record you and anyone who attends the workshop with you. You may not record the workshop without our prior consent.
Certificate of participation
Participants of our workshops will receive a certificate of participation if they have
attended all modules of any workshop. The certificate may be used for your social media profiles, CVs, and other channels for personal branding.
Changes to workshop days
Workshops will only take place if a sufficient number of people have registered to attend. Profecta BDI must reserve the right to change the days on which the workshops will take place, the starting times and the dates of the workshops, as well as to make any cancelations. Participants will be notified in a timely and appropriate manner. Claims against Profecta BDI cannot be derived from this.
Applicable law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia and the place of jurisdiction is Ljubljana, Slovenia.
