The seed of our company was planted years ago at an international language industry event, when we, Gordana and Zoran, first met as representatives of two translation and localization companies.
Although we worked for competitors, this didn’t stop us from becoming good friends and truly living the concept of coopetition that we learned about back then.
Over the years, we have attended multiple language industry events where we met extraordinary colleagues from all over the world who shared similar business challenges.
In parallel, we were putting a lot of effort into our personal and professional growth related to business development, management, and leadership. This knowledge, combined with our extensive experience, empowered us to help our peers work their way toward solutions for their business problems and achieve their desired success.
Then, the pandemic struck and turned our lives upside down, which made us reflect on our future and how we can help ourselves and others further develop and grow.
We didn’t want to miss the boat and decided to act on our true calling and mission – selflessly sharing our knowledge, wisdom, and insights with others and enjoying seeing them grow and progress.
When we were planning to incorporate digital marketing into our portfolio, Dragan, who had just become a Certified Digital Marketing Professional, came into play as a like-minded, experienced, versatile expert in the translation and localization industry as well as marketing.
Profecta BDI was born.
