Where are you now as an executive and where do you want to go? Many executives are constantly facing major or minor challenges with customers, the team, outside influences. They don’t have time to regularly review their company’s vision and strategic direction.

That’s why it’s important to take a short break, analyze the state of affairs from a distance, to clearly see where you’re going and what could jeopardize you along the way.

Culture eats strategy for breakfast. This saying has become popular, but many people don’t know what it means in practice. Moreover, many executives fall into the trap of myopic approaches because global situations require frequent “fire alarms.” This pours fuel on the fire of realistic goal setting and planning.

People are the cornerstone of any business. No state-of-the-art technology or perfect workflow can function without people who know how to use it skillfully and intelligently.

Executives have to work hard to retain talent to keep employees motivated, productive and happy on the job. Managing people is one of the most difficult tasks of a manager, but absolutely rewarding.
